Coming to counseling seeking healing and growth for yourself is brave. Being willing to look at your situation intentionally with the sole purpose of challenging yourself so you can grow and heal takes great strength.

Approach:

My approach with all of my clients, but especially when working in individual therapy, is a trauma-focused one. We all have experienced some kind of trauma in our lives, and oftentimes, these experiences shape how we view the world around us and ourselves. My goal when working with you is to walk alongside you in your processing, holding hope for your situation when you do not have any. My role is also to challenge you to grow and to analyze areas that may be uncomfortable, but done so gently and when you are ready. We will work together on goals, making sure to accomplish healing in the areas you find most important.

Common issues addressed in individual therapy include but are not limited to:

  • Anxiety, Depression, and other mood disruptions

  • Attachment Insecurity

  • Women’s Issues (prenatal, postpartum, loss)
